
The Busk City Council prepared food packages for the socially vulnerable residents of the community for the Christmas holidays.
Food products were purchased, from which 510 packages were formed and distributed to elderly single citizens and people with disabilities. These individuals are served by the Busk territorial center.
Each package included: oil — 1 litre, rice — 1 kg, sugar — 1 kg, flour — 2 kg, buckwheat — 2 kg, pasta — 800 g, kutia — 900 g, canned peas, mayonnaise, ‘To Coffee’ cookies, and a pack of tea.
191,047 UAH were allocated from the budget of the Busk City Council for the purchase of the food packages. The cost of one package is 374 UAH, excluding the buckwheat grown in the subsidiary farm of the Busk territorial center.
