As part of the state program ‘Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities’, children from Pokrovsk are staying in the Lviv region.
For a week, 14 children, winners of subject Olympiads and competitions, will stay in the Sheptytskiy community. They will get acquainted with the cultural, historical, and educational heritage of the city, participate in educational excursions and workshops. They will also have a meeting organized with local schoolchildren.
On the first day of their stay in our region, the children met with the mayor of Sheptytsky, where they shared their achievements, future plans, and asked many questions. In particular, schoolchildren from the industrial region were interested in whether the mines in our community continue to operate since most enterprises in Pokrovsk were destroyed due to hostilities.
In the coming days, the children are looking forward to new acquaintances, educational activities, cultural events, and active rest.
