In the Drohobych community, new tariffs for waste disposal will be implemented from 1st May, encouraging the sorting of household waste. This decision by the executive committee aims to support the sorting programme that began on 20th January 2026.
Residents of private houses intending to reduce waste disposal costs are advised to use two 120-litre containers or plastic bags. It is necessary to provide a set of documents, such as a passport, identification code, housing document, and a family composition certificate.
Residents of multi-storey buildings should contact the relevant services to arrange container sites and subsequently enter into a contract for the removal of sorted waste with “Kommunalnik”. This also involves providing the standard set of documents.
We remind you that the transition period ends on 1st May, after which tariffs will increase for those who do not sort waste. Additional information can be obtained from the Department of Urban Management.
