From the first days of the war, the Chervonohrad People’s House began to operate a center for humanitarian aid, which systematized its work in specific areas: the reception of things, their inspection, sorting and delivery. During this time, significant amounts of assistance were received – clothing, footwear, hygiene products, strollers, food for children and more. Internally displaced persons receive assistance depending on their needs. In addition, according to the orders, a lot of things are sent to the front.
Employees of the People’s House also mastered a new branch of production – weaving camouflage nets. Many volunteers, children who are involved in clubs, and migrants help them in this. Today the weaving of the jubilee product was completed – Ukrainian defenders will receive the sixtieth camouflage net from the People’s House gossips (their total area is more than 2,500 square meters). Currently, there is a need for fabric protective colors – green, gray, brown.
At the same time, – said the Deputy Director of the People’s House Viktor Kovalenko – in this difficult time, we do not forget about art. Recently, young actors of the children’s model puppet theater “Fairy Tale” for children who came to our city showed the play “Our Merry Gingerbread Man”. And soon this bright spectacle will be demonstrated in the NRC “Dawn”. After all, children should not suffer from the horrors of war. ”
