The Cabinet Eases International Travel for Female Officials

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted Resolution No. 587, which simplifies international travel for female officials. This amendment allows female employees of state bodies, local government bodies, and state enterprises to cross the national border without additional restrictions.

However, these provisions do not apply to women holding key managerial positions in state bodies and local government. The government has been tasked with submitting updated lists of officials subject to travel restrictions to the DPSU Administration within three days of the decision’s adoption.

Yulia Svyrydenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, noted that these changes are aimed at streamlining procedures for women during martial law. In the event of personnel changes, information must be submitted on the same day the decision is made.
