This morning in Lviv, a city council was held to address the consequences of yesterday’s bad weather.
“After yesterday’s bad weather, as of this morning, the water from the Zubra, Marunka, and Vyshen’ka rivers has receded, and the flooding caused by the overflow of these rivers has been eliminated. However, our emergency crews continue to work”, noted Iryna Marunyak.
According to her, out of 92 damaged roofs in 15 buildings, all issues have already been resolved. Additionally, 16 trees and 5 large branches were downed. Currently, utility workers are removing them from the premises.
There were recorded emergency damages on 31 sections of stormwater drainage. Crews from Lvivvodokanal are conducting the work. The utility services will continue working over the weekend as well.
