The city of Lviv, Korean companies SAMSUNG and ONUR GROUP will cooperate in the field of construction and infrastructure projects.
Thus, on July 14 in Warsaw, the representatives of the parties signed the Memorandum of Intentions of Cooperation. This was announced by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
“We signed a cooperation agreement between SAMSUNG, Onur and the city of Lviv. Before signing, we briefly discussed our needs and their capabilities. With this agreement, we launched the process of planning joint infrastructure projects, which can be implemented in the near future. After all, the SAMSUNG company is known not only for technical, but also for large-scale infrastructural solutions,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
The Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea was also present at the signing. The mayor of Lviv held a separate meeting with him on the topic of infrastructure projects and the development of the NEZLAMNI rehabilitation ecosystem.
“As a representative of the government of the Republic of Korea, I fully support your partnership and your cooperation. And if you have any requests or questions, do not hesitate to contact us at any time and in any matter,” said the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea Won Hee-ryong.
According to the signed Memorandum, the parties will cooperate within the framework of a broad partnership strategy, thanks to which they will be able to:
1 Combine experience, capabilities and attract resources to construction and infrastructure projects, including infrastructure development projects of the smart city program in Lviv;
2 To form a pool of investment projects in the field of infrastructure development, technologies, public transport that correspond to the priorities and development strategy of Lviv;
3 To ensure the exchange of experience in design issues and modern trends in the field of design and technical solutions, to create a center of excellence with the aim of attracting other cities and regions of Ukraine;
4 Promote cooperation with Korean capital by holding conferences and business forums, business missions, make efforts to combine competencies and competitiveness to maximize value and ensure business for the mutual benefit of the parties.
