The Lviv City Council continues its community development efforts in recently joined areas. A recent meeting between the Office for Agglomeration and Community Development and residents of Hriada focused on implemented projects and future plans for 2025.
According to the head of the office, Nataliia Aleksiieva, nearly UAH 11.4 million was allocated from the city budget to support Hriada and Volia-Homuletska in 2024. Of this, over UAH 10.3 million was invested in the local gymnasium and kindergarten. An additional UAH 238,000 supported subsidized public transport, while UAH 151,600 was used for maintenance and repairs of outdoor lighting. The remainder went toward culture and community improvements.
Key completed initiatives:

Hriada Gymnasium saw a major roof renovation (worth over UAH 2 million), restroom upgrades, classroom door replacements, a new shelter area, and an accessibility lift.

The local kindergarten underwent full restroom renovations including new plumbing, tiles, toilets, sinks, hand dryers, partitions, and lighting.

Community centers in both Hriada and Volia-Homuletska received heating system repairs and new office equipment and furniture. In Hriada, a new boiler, entrance doors, a surveillance system, and security alarm were also installed.

A new park is being developed in Hriada around old-growth trees. Nearby, Zadviria–Parkova Street was equipped with modern energy-efficient lighting.
Upcoming projects by the end of 2025:

Smerenchanskoho Street in Hriada will undergo repairs.

Zelena Street in Volia-Homuletska is also set for improvements.
These works are part of the local road maintenance and repair program for rural roads within the Lviv municipal community.
Meanwhile, the Church of the Holy Trinity (1756), a national heritage wooden monument in Volia-Homuletska, is under restoration. Work is expected to be completed this year.
