The city of Lviv is preparing to expand its electric transport fleet by acquiring 11 Skoda 26Tr Solaris trolleybuses from the Czech city of Jihlava. This event is scheduled for October-November of this year, as reported by Oleh Zabarilo, the director of the city mobility and street infrastructure department of the Lviv City Council.
The new trolleybuses feature low floors and are in good technical condition, ensuring comfortable passenger transportation. In addition to the trolleybuses themselves, Lviv will also receive a set of spare parts for their maintenance.
Zabarilo expressed gratitude to the Jihlava municipality for their support and partnership in developing urban mobility in Lviv. The trolleybuses will be deployed on city routes, enhancing the level of service for citizens.
