Supporting the Armed Forces: City Programs and Initiatives
Lviv City Hall regularly procures equipment based on requests from military units. In 2024, over UAH 800 million was allocated for the Armed Forces, with an additional UAH 1 billion budgeted for 2025.
In collaboration with the “Come Back Alive” fund, the large-scale fundraising campaign “Armour Bearers” was launched. The goal is to raise UAH 200 million to comprehensively equip four combat brigades currently defending the frontline:
- 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
- 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade.
- 68th Separate Jäger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.
- 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.
The funds will be used to purchase mortars, grenade launchers, pickup trucks, EW systems, and quadcopters. You can contribute to the campaign here: https://savelife.in.ua/zbroyenosci/.
