Another 875 7ʼʼ FPV drones, which were purchased with the funds of the Lviv community, will help our defenders on the front lines.
They were handed over to various units of the Airborne Assault Forces, which are defending our country from the Russian aggressor.
UAH 12.7 million was allocated from the city budget for the purchase of this batch of drones within the framework of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative. And last week, the city handed over 800 FPV drones to the paratroopers, as well as a three-board RQ-35 Heidrun unmanned aerial reconnaissance system.
In total, in January-February 2024, the Lviv City Hall supported the army for more than UAH 119 million. Machinery and equipment were purchased at the request of the military as part of the city-wide program to support defenders. In the budget of the Lviv MTG for 2024, UAH 1 billion is provided only for the purchase of equipment and necessary means for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
