As part of the ‘Lion’s Revenge’ initiative, the Lviv City Council today delivered another batch of equipment and gear to Ukrainian defenders, with a total value exceeding 6.3 million UAH. This assistance was received by 13 military units and divisions conducting combat missions on various fronts. The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, held an artistically decorated shell casing given by the servicemen. Standing beside him was a soldier who received the equipment.
This time, the military received generators, charging stations, Starlink, a Mavic 4 Pro quadcopter, Grey Widow UAVs, vehicles, autonomous diesel heaters, communication devices, tablets, phones, welding machines, and other equipment essential for completing combat missions.
The city council emphasises that this aid is funded by Lviv community taxpayers as part of a programme supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This year, more than 1 billion UAH is allocated from the community budget to support the military. Last year, the Lviv community contributed over 1.1 billion UAH in support of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
