In Lviv, an inspection of medical institutions was conducted to ensure compliance with accessibility standards. In total, 30 hospitals and outpatient clinics were surveyed, access to which is critically important for residents.
“Medical institutions have many tasks to address, including: upgrading restrooms, improving the surrounding infrastructure,” said Iryna Marunyak, Lviv’s Deputy Mayor for Accessibility.
Compliance with standards was checked in hospitals and outpatient clinics of the Second Medical Association of Lviv. The outpatient clinic in the village of Velyki Hrybovychi demonstrated high work standards.
“Further inspections and measures to enhance the accessibility of our medical institutions will continue,” added Iryna Marunyak.
