Over five days in February, the legal department of Lviv’s Department of Natural Resources and Construction managed to return 5 million 552 thousand UAH to the local budget. These funds were owed by tenants for the use of municipal lands.
Among the largest debtors:
- LLC “Kanyon” – 2 million 194 thousand UAH;
- PJSC “Pivdenzakhidelektromerezhbud” – 1 million 193 thousand UAH;
- LLC “Akita Ukraine” – 792,701 UAH;
- LLC “Housing Complex “Bilyi Shokolad”” – 707,701 UAH;
- LLC “Ukr-Euro-Service” – 283,731 UAH;
- LLC “TORG-SIDAS” – 257,908.78 UAH;
- LLC “Spetsbudservice” – 120,123 UAH.
While the city employs pre-trial settlements, this time the lawyers had to go to court to recover the debts, which also includes covering court expenses. The department urges tenants to promptly sign contracts and pay rent.
