From 13 May, Lviv will commence acaricidal measures in parks to prevent the proliferation of ticks. The Lviv City Territorial Community requests residents refrain from visiting during the treatment.
The first parks to be treated are: Znesinnia Regional Landscape Park, Snopkivskyi Park, Zalizna Voda, Vysokyi Zamok, and Pohulianka Forest Park. Work is also planned in parks Lychakivskyi with the Hill of Glory and others.
If weather conditions are unfavourable, the schedule may be adjusted. During 14–15 May, other parks such as Zamars stynivskyi, 700th Anniversary of Lviv, and Stryiskyi Park will also be treated. Notification about the treatment of other areas, such as Koloniia Park and Sknylivskyi, will be provided later.
