A decision was made in a session of the Lviv City Council to reduce the number of temporary structures in the city.
According to the decision, 59 temporary structures will be removed from the list, and some entrepreneurs have had their rental terms extended. According to the Deputy Mayor of Lviv, Liubomyr Zubach, the situation with the MAFs was discussed with entrepreneurs and public organizations. “We came to what I think is quite a balanced decision,” he said.
It was also mentioned that if the city plans infrastructure projects, they receive priority support. “This is common sense,” added Andriy Sadovyi.
Earlier in 2025, rental terms for 300 structures were already extended after inspection. The city’s strategy envisions a gradual evolutionary reduction in the number of MAFs.
