The Lviv City Council is preparing a refusal for the construction of a multi-storey building at the site of a restaurant in the settlement of Bryukhovychi. This decision was announced on 22 May during an executive committee meeting. The decision is based on the fact that the settlement’s master plan designates a different purpose for this land.
Anton Kolomeytsev, the city’s chief architect, noted that the applicant, LLC ‘VKF “Horobyna”‘, applied with the intention to build a multi-storey residential building on Lvivska Street, 12, where the “Vulyk” restaurant was formerly located.
A detailed area plan previously allowed for residential development, but this plan was annulled by a Supreme Court decision in December 2025. Currently, the master plan stipulates retaining the land’s restaurant function, which forms the basis for the refusal to grant urban development conditions and restrictions.
