Lviv Introduces 12-Metre Bus on Route No. 41 for Testing

In Lviv, a 12-metre low-floor bus has commenced test operations on route No. 41, which connects Sykhivska Street and Halytske Crossroad. This type of bus increases capacity and comfort for passengers, as reported by the Lviv City Council.

The head of the transport department of the Lviv City Council, Oleh Partyka, emphasised that during the testing phase, an analysis of the bus’s performance will be conducted to decide on its future use or replacement with smaller class vehicles, ensuring accessibility for all passengers.

According to the information, route No. 41 is serviced by the carrier ‘Fiakr-Lviv’. On weekdays, 12 buses operate on the line, five of which are modern low-floor 10-metre buses.

The fleet update in Lviv is focused on comfort and accessibility. Last year, the municipal APT-1 acquired 10 buses with a low-floor section. Additionally, private carriers have also contributed, leading to more than 360 large low-floor buses operating across the city since the beginning of 2026.
