In Lviv, the ‘Inclusive Taxi’ service has been operating for over two years, providing people with disabilities the opportunity to move around the city without barriers. This initiative is implemented by the Department of Social Protection of the Lviv City Council in collaboration with Uklon and OKKO filling stations.
The programme provides for compensation of travel costs up to 800 hryvnias per month for one person. The service can be used by people with musculoskeletal disorders who use wheelchairs, as well as military personnel with disabilities or those who have been injured.
To receive compensation, it is necessary to register in the Uklon app, submit an application and a set of documents to the city council. Documents can be submitted electronically via the Lviv City Council website or in person at the social protection departments.
For 2026, the budget of the Lviv City Territorial Community allocates 326,400 UAH for compensation for transportation services within the ‘Inclusive Taxi’ initiative. As of the end of the first quarter, over 17,000 UAH has been used, and 13 people have received compensation.
