The Lviv community is developing solutions for setting up local treatment facilities.
Currently, a study is underway to explore the areas of localities to determine where it would be more feasible to extend the central sewerage system or install septic tanks. Specialists are examining locations and addressing organizational issues.
Residents are encouraged to participate in a survey regarding wastewater treatment. The survey takes 5-7 minutes and is anonymous. Its purpose is to consider residents’ needs when planning new infrastructure solutions and implementing European standards in the field of wastewater management.

The next step is to seek grant funds and install local treatment facilities in the settlements of our community, stated in LMKP “Lvivvodokanal”, which is implementing the project in partnership with the CI City Institute, NGO “Zero Waste Lviv”, Coalition Clean Baltic (CCB), Polski Klub Ekologiczny with support from the Swedish Institute (SI).
