The Lviv community has successfully defended its right to 1.6 ha of land in Lysynychi. This was reported by the Lviv City Council. The Supreme Court supported the community’s position, declaring the lease agreement with LLC ‘Rubin-Autospec’ null and void. This decision brought to light issues that have existed since 2018, when the village council gave away the land almost for free.
The issue of the invalid lease was discovered earlier, when it became known that plots were transferred without adequate valuation, at a price half of what it should have been. Moreover, the courts confirmed that the auctions for these plots were fictitious. This is not the first victory for the community in this area. Previously, they managed to reclaim two more plots measuring 1.7 ha and 1.3 ha.
In total, two more cases concerning 1.7 ha and 3.66 ha are under review. On the latter plot, the court officially banned construction, yet the developer continues work. Residents of the city are advised not to invest in these projects due to legal disputes regarding the legality of the development.
