
The Lviv community plans to create new squares and expand the boundaries of the forest park. Such a decision was supported at the latest session of the Lviv City Council. Documentation has been approved for one of the largest green areas in Lviv — Bilogorshcha Forest Park, with a total area of 182 hectares. As reported by the Director of the City Department of Natural Resources and Construction, Taras Kubai, six land plots have been designated to officially become part of the forest park.
Within the streets of Stadnykiv, Roksolyany, Shyroka, Rudnenska, General V. Kurmanovych, Danylo Apostol, a land management project has been approved for these plots. In the near future, property rights will be registered for them. In Dubyany, four plots with a total area of 0.6285 hectares, located on Zelenya Street, have been allocated for squares. The Department of Land Resources will work on the documentation for their consolidation.
Additionally, five plots of land on Zaozernaya Street and the 3rd Zaozerny Lane have been transferred to the Shevchenkivska District Administration for the preservation of squares. A land management project has been approved for a plot with an area of 1.3186 hectares in the residential area of Pid Holoskom Street, which will now be managed by “Zeleny Lviv” Municipal Enterprise.
