Today, social media users actively spread information about patching potholes with hot asphalt on Zelenii Street.
The Lychakiv District Administration refuted this information, explaining the use of cold asphalt for the repair of emergency potholes in winter. A worker from the road repair company prepared the pothole for filling with cold asphalt, blowing away water and dirt with a manual industrial blower. Behind the worker stands another person with a device for smoothing the filled asphalt.
\”We use only proven road repair methods during the winter period,\” said Yurii Lukashevskyi, head of the Lychakiv District Administration, who personally visited the repair site.
