Lviv is implementing a new concept for developing the medical sector, aiming to transform city polyclinics into small state-of-the-art hospitals.
This means more services, fewer queues, and a single route for patients – from the family doctor to specialist, diagnostics, and rehabilitation. Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi stated this while reporting on the implementation of the project by 2025.
“All city polyclinics are connected to the First or Second medical associations, and our task is to transform each of these polyclinics into new type mini hospitals. There should be top-notch diagnostics, modern rehabilitation, opportunities for surgical interventions, there should be dignity. And we already see an example of the 4th polyclinic in Sykhiv – this beautiful modern lobby and new treatment opportunities,”
noted Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi.
