The Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of the Lviv Regional Government Office handed over the engineering infrastructure facility of water supply and sewerage under the project “Relocation of the main water pipeline “Hirne-Drogobych” in order to prevent the emergence of an emergency situation in the Drohobytsy district of the Lviv region” into communal ownership. We would like to remind that in 2017, a depression of the earth’s surface was formed within the mining concession of mine No. 2 of PJSC Stebnytsk Mining and Chemical Enterprise “Polymineral”. In order to prevent an emergency situation, namely the further failure of the main water pipeline, a decision was made to move the water pipeline from the emergency zone.
With funds from the reserve fund of the state budget in the amount of UAH 24,747,520,000, construction work was carried out for a total of 1,353,537 m.p. water supply networks (emergency branch).
To date, they have completed the main planned works on the laying of water supply networks, and also planned to carry out a direct “insertion” into the existing main water supply “Hirne-Drohobych”.
Completion of the project will provide an opportunity to provide uninterrupted, reliable water supply to 97,600 residents of Drohobych, Stebnyk, village. Bolehiv, village Modrychi, Drohobytsky district, Lviv region.
