Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi held a working meeting with the Head of the State Special Transport Service Oleksandr Yakovets. During the conversation, the parties discussed the situation in Lviv region and further cooperation.
The State Special Transport Service is a military formation within the system of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. Its units build and restore bridges and other transport infrastructure facilities, construct fortification structures, carry out demining, restore facilities after enemy strikes and perform engineering tasks to meet the needs of the Defence Forces.
According to the head of the region, the country's resilience, logistics and security under conditions of full-scale war depend on the high-quality work of the State Special Transport Service. For security reasons, the details of the meeting are not being disclosed.
“Our resilience, logistics and security in the conditions of full-scale war directly depend on the quality of their work. Oleksandr Vasylovych and I had a substantive conversation about Lviv region and further cooperation. I will not disclose the details of the meeting for security reasons. I thank the leadership and personnel of the State Special Transport Service for their important work for the country,” noted the head of the region.
