On May 18, the XXXIII session of the VIII convocation of the Sokal City Council finished its work.

The session was preceded by three meetings of the commission on budget, socio-economic development, investment and international cooperation, a meeting of the commission on education, health care, culture, tourism, historical and cultural heritage, youth policy, sports and social protection, two meetings of the commission on issues of the agro-industrial complex, land relations, ecology and nature management, development of the territory and infrastructure, architecture and construction, two meetings of the commission on issues of industry, entrepreneurship, housing and communal services, communal property, energy conservation and transport, commission on issues of regulations, deputy activity and ethics , law and order, protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms, information policy. All issues were considered by specialized commissions and brought to the session.
The main issue of the session is the introduction of changes to the indicators of the budget of the Sokal City Council for 2023, namely the distribution of the remaining funds of the budget formed at the beginning of 2023. A total of UAH 65,042,284.66 was distributed. The largest financial resource was allocated for roads – 30,725,000 hryvnias. To support the Armed Forces of Ukraine – UAH 1,900,000 (for the purchase of quadcopters (drones), as well as their components and tablets). In addition:
To provide the privileged category of the population with medicines – UAH 519,800;
For the transportation of 5 hemodialysis patients in the city of Chervonograd – UAH 140,000;
For the Program of social protection of certain categories of the population (burial of fallen Heroes of our community, one-time aid to the families of fallen Heroes, one-time aid to wounded servicemen, monetary aid to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment) – UAH 1,248,100;
For the Program “Information awareness of certain categories of citizens of the Sokal territorial community” – 94,050 UAH;
UAH 1,980,000 for the Compensation Program for the travel of certain categories of citizens in road transport;
For the Support Program for Internally Displaced Persons (for the period of martial law) in the Sokal Territorial Community – UAH 712,500;
For the improvement of Starosty districts – 3,800,000 (200,000 UAH for each Starosty district);
For the production of PCD for the construction of a sewage network in the city of Sokal (district of Yavornytskogo St.) – UAH 699,590, for the purchase of containers for solid household waste – UAH 584,960;
For the purchase of a road marking machine, two brush cutters and a chainsaw for the “Sokalzhitlokomunservice” KP – UAH 116,050;
For the maintenance of the Sokal city center of physical health of the population “Sports for all” (wages and equipment) – UAH 73,380.00;
For the maintenance of preschool educational institutions – UAH 1,896,610, including: for raising the wages of cooks – UAH 463,600, sewerage repair of the preschool institution in the village of Komariv – UAH 243,880, current repair of the shelter of the preschool institution No. 9 in the city of Sokal, the purchase of solid fuel a boiler for a preschool institution in the village of Knyazhe – UAH 63,000, a fan for the shelter of a preschool institution No. 8 in the city of Sokal – UAH 56,680;
For the maintenance of general secondary education institutions – UAH 9,992,320, in particular: for raising the wages of cooks and drivers – UAH 755,180, for the purchase of heating boilers – UAH 846,450, current repair of the roof of Sokalska Secondary School No. 4 – UAH 479,960, capital repair of the Sokalska shelter Secondary school No. 3 – UAH 627,150, overhaul of the roof of the school in the village of Peretoky – UAH 988,620, the village of Spasiv – UAH 296,370, the village of Voyslavychi – UAH 447,490, overhaul of the fence of the sports ground of the Sokal secondary school No. 4 – UAH 233,090;
For maintenance of out-of-school education institutions – UAH 98,200;
For wages (UAH 157,650), repair of the facade (UAH 494,270) and the internal electrical network (UAH 184,570) of the Sokal Small Academy of Sciences for Pupil Youth named after Ihor Bogachevsky – UAH 836,490;
For sports activities – UAH 375,750;
For the repair of the roof of the Sokolyany Youth School – UAH 118,200;
For the Program of national-patriotic, military-sports education and preparation of young people for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – UAH 169,000;
UAH 115,000 for the Sokal region promotion program in Ukraine and abroad;
For the repair of the premises of the department of culture (100,000 UAH) and public houses (219,800 UAH) – 319,800 UAH;
To replenish the library fund and subscribe to periodicals – UAH 250,000;
UAH 5,000,000 for major repairs of the “Sokil” physical culture and sports complex;
UAH 200,000 for the purchase of fuel for the 4th state fire-rescue unit of the GU DSNS in the Lviv region;
UAH 250,000 for the purchase of digital radio stations for Police Department No. 2 of the Chervonograd District Police Department.
