In September, Lvivvodokanal employees replaced 2,680 metres of water supply network. According to the company, a total of 27,680 metres of emergency water pipes have been replaced since the beginning of this year.
“Every month, as long as weather conditions permit, we replace emergency sections of water pipes. The work is carried out in all districts of the city. During September, we managed to replace 2,680 metres of networks of various diameters,” Lvivvodokanal says.
In particular, water supply networks were replaced in September at the following addresses:
– 28-31 Petliura Street – 239 m
– 24-41 Tyutyunnykiv str;
– 55 Lypynskoho St. – 110 m;
– 17 Tychyny str. to 67 Khvylovoho str;
– 67-69 Okruzhna Street – 59 m, etc.
“After emergency or scheduled water pipe replacement works, the street water supply network is flushed. During the period of water supply flushing, there may be a temporary deterioration in water quality: water discolouration with iron oxide (rust) that is washed off the inner walls of the pipelines,” the company adds.
