All waste haulers are taking comprehensive measures to repair and upgrade container sites after the fall and winter season.
A total of 1,500 sites with 8,000 containers will be cleaned throughout the city and the community.
“Every year, in the spring, household waste carriers repair and upgrade their infrastructure. All these measures are aimed at improving the sanitary condition and aesthetic appearance of the container sites and creating comfortable conditions for city residents. These are large-scale works that cover 1,500 sites with 8,000 containers throughout the city and the community.
The carriers are currently washing and disinfecting the containers, painting the structures, updating information labels, and repairing or replacing damaged elements.
In particular, the municipal carrier Lvivspetskomuntras, which operates 220 container sites, has already cleaned all sites in the Zaliznychnyi and Lychakiv districts – 102 sites,” the Department of Housing and Infrastructure of the Lviv City Council reported.

We remind you that it is prohibited to dispose of construction and repair waste, bulky waste (furniture and its parts), stones, earth, tree branches, foam and hazardous waste (batteries, thermometers, fluorescent lamps) in household waste containers.
