“Those who protect us at the front should be supported by the state in getting everything necessary to return to a peaceful life and to their families after the victory. The state must do everything to ensure that this return takes place comfortably.

The front of the country’s recovery is already starting. The Center for Veteran Development is designed to help veterans integrate into the economy, find work, and rebuild the country. Thanks to all the partners who made it possible to open the Center, which is one of the elements of the veterans’ policy system,” said Yulia Laputina, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, during the opening of the Center.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of Lviv OVA, emphasized that the government’s task is to create an opportunity for veterans to change society for the better.

“Lviv region is always ready to participate in such projects, and we are grateful to everyone who fights for our independence at the front. It is an honor for us to cooperate with veterans, because a veteran carries a huge mission in society – he went to fight for his native state, and when he returns from the front, he changes the environment around him, adds his vision to the world – a world of freedom, dignity and humanity, victory. Thanks to Yulia Laputinia for the initiative of training veteran’s assistants! We support such an institution!” – added Maksym Kozytskyi.

The Center will provide training and retraining of veterans. In addition, future veteran assistants will be trained here – this is one of the flagship projects of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. Veterans will be able to learn a new profession, implement their entrepreneurial initiatives. The Center will provide psychological and legal assistance services.
