According to the order of the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, the region approved new rules for swimming for small, sports boats and jet skis and the use of means of entertainment on the water, which were registered in the Western Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice on August 24 of this year.
The new rules regulate the parking of ships, jet skis, the allocation of places (zones) for water fun using jet skis and/or water fun equipment, sports events, special conditions for swimming (restrictions) in the region, as well as the rights of boat drivers and obligations of shipowners to regulate inland water transport activities in the territory of the region.
The rules apply to:
🔘owners and shipowners of small and sports vessels, jet skis, or persons who use them on other grounds;
🔘drivers of small and sports vessels, jet skis, crew members, as well as other persons on them;
🔘owners and staff of bases for parking small/sports vessels.
The effect of these Rules does not apply to the bases and vessels that are part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations and special law enforcement agencies formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
