The first company to be inspected was Lviv ATP-14631, one of the largest in the region.
On 15 October, inspections of road transport companies to check their readiness for the autumn-winter period and the functioning of e-tickets started in Lviv region. These inspections will last for two months. This was discussed at a meeting with carriers.
Today, employees of the Transport Department of the Road Department, together with representatives of the patrol police, checked compliance with the rules of motor transport legislation when releasing buses on routes.
The inspection revealed violations of the drivers’ work and rest schedule, as well as technical deficiencies in the buses, which led to the issuance of administrative orders.
“Drivers of bus companies must undergo a medical examination every day before leaving, and mechanics must check the technical condition of buses, making appropriate entries in the logbook,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the LOVA Road Transport Department.
Lviv ATP-14631 operates 101 bus routes using more than 350 vehicles.
The department encourages residents of the region to report any violations of schedules or routes by carriers. To do this, you can call the Oblast Hotline at 1684 or the Government Hotline at 1545.
