This was reported following a meeting of the regional commission on providing housing for orphans and children deprived of parental care, which took place on 10 June with the participation of the Chief of Staff of the Lviv Regional Council, Yaroslav Hasiak.

For the purchase of the housing, UAH 385.5 thousand will be allocated from the regional budget, and a further UAH 746.5 thousand will be financed by the Hrabovets-Duliby community.

Commission members noted that when selecting housing they take into account its technical condition, the availability of necessary amenities, as well as its location in relation to social and transport infrastructure.

Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Ivan Sobko, called on communities in the region to provide in their budgets for funds to co-finance the purchase of housing under the relevant regional programme.
