The Lviv Regional Council has announced four new nature reserve sites.
The new protected areas include ‘Striy River Terraces’, ‘Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Park’, ‘Rozhirchanskyi Forest’, and ‘Maloholoskivska Debra’. They are located in the Stryi community, the village of Bryukhovychi of the Lviv community, in the Skole area, and within the city of Lviv. These sites encompass valuable natural landscapes, parks, and forests, established to preserve unique ecosystems, rare species of plants and animals, as well as to maintain the ecological balance in the region.
