In the Lviv region, the first training and testing complex in Europe for demining activities, environmental safety, and civil protection has begun operation.
The Russians have mined vast areas of our country. Hundreds of thousands of square kilometers are at risk. Without modern and effective solutions, returning to normal life in these areas may take decades.
The creation of the training and testing complex in our region will significantly accelerate demining and make it safer. Leading Ukrainian and international specialists will produce equipment in the complex, test it, and train our defenders to work with it without unnecessary risks. The equipment will be tested in conditions as close to combat as possible.
Thanks to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, international organizations, Ukrainian manufacturers, researchers, communities, and businesses, thanks to whom this initiative became possible. This is not just about equipment and techniques; these are concrete steps towards making all the lands of our state fertile again.
