From now on, the Samartsevs are raising their two siblings and seven foster children in the family-type orphanage.
On January 23, the family-type orphanage of Irina and Sergey Samartsev from Navariya took in three children for upbringing and cohabitation.
After six months of separation, the siblings will grow up together in a loving family. Until then, Dmytro and Marichka were temporarily raised in a foster family in Stryi district, and Maksymko was in the Malvy orphanage in Lviv.
“Dmytro, Marichka and Maksym are related to each other and have the status of children deprived of parental care. The boys are nine and one years old, and the girl is seven years old.
From now on, the family-type orphanage of Irina and Sergey Samartsev is home to two relatives and seven foster children,” said Volodymyr Lis, head of the regional state administration’s children’s service.
The decision to place the children in the children’s home was made at a meeting of the Commission on Child Protection of the Pustomyty City Council and submitted to the mayor for a corresponding order.
“We wish the parents to raise their children to be true Ukrainians and true Christians, not to lose faith in their bright future. It is not for nothing that they say that when a family is strong, the state is strong, and the spiritual health of the people depends on the spiritual well-being of the family,” said Volodymyr Mota, head of the Service for Children of the Pustomyty City Council.
In total, there are 44 family-type children’s homes in the region, where 303 orphans and children deprived of parental care are brought up. Another 74 foster families are raising 136 orphans and children deprived of parental care.
