A carrier providing services without permits was found on one of the bus routes in Lviv region
It is a bus route Lviv (AC-2) – Zabuzhzhya.
Today, on 23 January, employees of the Transport Department of the Road Department together with employees of the Road Safety Department of the Patrol Police in Lviv Oblast checked compliance with the requirements of motor vehicle legislation when releasing buses on the line.
On 17 January 2023, the Lviv Regional State Administration decided to terminate the contract with the carrier ATP-Zavada PE for the maintenance of the public bus route No. 157 Lviv AC-2 – Zabuzhzhia due to improper provision of passenger transportation services.
“As part of the joint raid inspection, a vehicle with a stencil for bus route 157 Lviv AC-2 – Zabuzhzhia was detected and two resolutions were drawn up for violation of motor vehicle legislation by ATP-Zavada,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the LOVA Road Department.
It should be noted that drivers of road transport companies are required to undergo a daily medical examination before leaving the company, and the bus is checked by a mechanic before departure, which is recorded in the vehicle release log.
