On September 19, 2025, a campaign to clean the riverside area of the Western Bug took place in the Sokal community.
This initiative, organized by the Dobrotvir Village Council, was dedicated to the International Day of Clean Shores. The event also took place in the territories of Dobrotvir, Sheptytsky, Kamianka-Buzka, and Zolochiv communities. **Environmental initiatives** draw attention to the problem of water body pollution. They demonstrate that even a small contribution to cleanliness can have a significant impact in the future.

The event was part of the project “Clean Bug – cooperation between the Dorohychyn commune and the Dobrotvir community for the protection of the biodiversity of the Bug Valley” of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021-2027 Program.
