On Sembratovychiv Street in Lviv, repairs to the emergency section of the road surface have been completed, and the street is once again open to private traffic. This was reported by the Zalyznychnyi District Administration.
Repair works on Sembratovychiv Street began on 14 July. According to the district administration, they were scheduled to be completed by 4 August, and private traffic was already restored on 3 August.
During the repairs, road workers milled off the old damaged surface and laid two layers of new asphalt concrete with a total area of about 900 m². They also repaired and raised the inspection chamber manholes, upgraded the stormwater inlets with new grates, and restored the pavement on the left-hand side from Horodotska Street.
At the same time, LKP «Levandivka» connected all the rainwater downpipes from the buildings to the main sewer network. Thanks to this, rainwater from the roofs will no longer run along the pavements but will flow directly into the sewer.
Road markings for the LeoParking car park still need to be applied on Sembratovychiv Street. This work is scheduled to be carried out in the near future.
