New Trees Planted by the Lakes on Pancha Street in Lviv

On Pancha Street in Lviv, efforts to enhance the area surrounding the lakes continue. Recently, new trees have been planted and one of the lakes has started to be filled with water. The area has been paved, with new benches and bins installed. The membrane on the large lake has been repaired, preventing water leakage.

Wide layers of light-grey gravel and small stones have been arranged around the bodies of water, providing clear boundaries between them and the green grass. Residents are actively using the space for leisure, making it crucial to complete the works as quickly as possible. Additionally, six Schubert cherry trees have been planted by the benches, funded by sponsors.

According to the management, leaks on the large lake have been identified and rectified, allowing the water replenishment to commence. On the smaller lake, work to eliminate leaks is still underway. The lake restoration project won the Lviv Participatory Budget in 2019, with its implementation ongoing since 2023 to preserve the completed works.
