On 29 October, the 95th regular session of the Novoiavorivsk City Council of the 8th convocation took place, at which 73 items on the agenda were considered. Among other things, councillors supported an appeal to Naftogaz Teplo LLC demanding that it verify the accuracy of charges for heat energy and hot water for flat owners with individual heating systems. A separate appeal was sent to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development regarding the need to ensure fair billing for heat supply and hot water supply.
From the community budget, councillors allocated UAH 5 million 700 thousand for the remuneration of teaching staff in general secondary education institutions and UAH 1 million 300 thousand for the salaries of staff at the children’s school of arts. A decision was also adopted to reallocate funds to support veterans’ programmes.
As part of social support for the community, councillors agreed to allocate funds to co-finance the purchase of housing for an orphaned child. Other items on the agenda included a report on the implementation of the city budget for the first nine months of 2026 and amendments to the 2026 budget, as well as adjustments to the Comprehensive Programme of Social Support for Certain Categories of Citizens for 2026.
The City Council also approved regulations on the Alley of Remembrance and the Military Burial Sector at the Novoiavorivsk municipal cemetery. A significant part of the meeting was devoted to land issues: approval of land management documentation, renewal and early termination of lease agreements, and preparation of land plots for auction.
