Thanks to the new functionality, the eQueue system will automatically verify the presence of the international insurance certificate “Green Card” when booking places in the online queue. This innovation will help avoid situations where the certificate has not yet come into effect.
From 12 May 2026, all bookings will be automatically checked for insurance, indicating the validity of the coverage in the user’s personal account. In the absence of insurance, the booking will be cancelled. This will save drivers time and make the crossing more predictable.
Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba noted that the functionality will be useful for drivers, warning them of potential risks before they reach the border. The “Green Card” is mandatory for commercial transport registered in Ukraine.
