Lviv has approved a new support mechanism for residents whose homes have been damaged by attacks.
It ensures a clear and fair compensation mechanism for Lviv residents who find themselves in difficult situations. “This Procedure is universal and applies to all cases of housing damage due to emergencies caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation,” notes Andriy Yaremko. Payments are made from the reserve fund of the Lviv community budget. The program provides financial assistance to residents of houses damaged by explosions or flooding following shelling.
Assistance is designated for: residents of the Lviv community who were actually living in the damaged housing at the time of the attack: owners / co-owners of the housing or registered individuals; one representative from each household (apartment/house).
The decision provides for the following payment amounts: up to 8,000 UAH for door repair; up to 12,000 UAH for each window; 15,000 UAH in cases of flooding; individual amounts for roof or apartment repairs.

The application must be submitted no later than 6 months after the shelling to the nearest Administrative Service Center. The application must include copies of the passport, taxpayer identification number, and bank details.
