Oleksiy Balytskyi Resigns as Deputy Mayor of Truskavets

Oleksiy Mykhailovych Balytskyi, who held the position of Deputy Mayor of Truskavets for over ten years, has resigned of his own accord. His decision was supported by the 88th session of the city council. The Mayor, Andriy Kulchynskyi, and the head of the budget committee, Anatoliy Starodub, expressed their gratitude for his fruitful work.

In his farewell speech, Mr. Balytskyi thanked his colleagues for their cooperation and assured that he would remain in Truskavets, continuing to work for the benefit of the city and Ukraine.

The session began with deputies’ inquiries, voiced by Mykhailo Halyk and Andriy Hnidan, particularly concerning the improvement of responses to deputies’ requests and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The issue of the rational use of funds was discussed repeatedly, including the allocation of 2 million UAH for the repair of the police facade and 2.7 million UAH for the repair of the “Truskavetslight” utility boxes.

Among the decisions made: allocation of 5 million 75 thousand UAH to support military units, over 14 million UAH for the needs of the city hospital, 9 million UAH to incentivise medical workers, 13 million 700 thousand UAH for the Truskavets Water Utility, 130 thousand UAH for the city treasury, 88 thousand 400 UAH for the arrangement of the Avenue of Glory.

Also approved was the annual report on the budget execution for 2025 and amendments to the 2026 budget. Non-financial issues included: rental of premises for the education department and NGO “VC ‘Kolo’, approval of the regulation on the tourist levy, and reduction of the executive committee’s numerical composition.
