In the Zhovkva community, the memory of three Heroes who sacrificed their lives defending Ukraine was honoured, as reported on Facebook. Commemorative plaques have been placed on the facade of the Hlynsk School, dedicated to alumni who defended the country on the most critical fronts.
Igor Yatseniak died on 9 June 2023 near the village of Khromove in Donetsk region at the age of 37. Igor Zmiy gave his life on 12 August 2023 near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, he was 41 years old. Volodymyr Pelekh died on 13 June 2022 during a combat mission near Orikhove and Zolote in Luhansk region, at the age of 42.
At the event to honour the defenders, their relatives, schoolchildren, teachers, and community representatives were present. All of them paid tribute to the courage and heroism of the fallen soldiers.
