The owners of more than three dozen establishments, where residents of the city and region are, were warned against using Russian content.
Today, July 6, representatives of the Interdepartmental Working Group at the Lviv OVA conducted explanatory work among the owners, administrative staff and employees of institutions in the Halytsky district of the city of Lviv.
Employees of institutions were given leaflets with the inscriptions: “A moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products has been established in Lviv region” and stickers “Lviv region is free from Russian-language cultural products” and “Lviv region is free from the language of the occupier, terrorist, murderer.”
Employees of hairdressers, restaurants, cafes, etc., received relevant information sheets.
As reported in the department of communications and internal policy of the Lviv Regional Government, such measures are aimed at warning the owners of establishments where residents and guests of the city are from using Russian-language content.
“The terrorist state mercilessly destroys Ukrainian cities every day, kills military and civilian Ukrainians. And at the time of Russian aggression, we have to explain even more to entrepreneurs and residents of the region about the prevention of listening to or watching Russian cultural products. We must eradicate everything that is Russian. Thank you to the public activists who are carrying out this important work together with us”, – said the director of the department of communications and internal policy of Lviv OVA Yuriy Horun.
Within the scope of the inspection, explanatory work was carried out in more than three dozen public service institutions. Employees of institutions supported the initiative and placed appropriate stickers at the entrance to the premises.
We remind you that Decision No. 745 of the Lviv Regional Council on the Moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products was approved in September 2018. The document was adopted for the purpose of protecting the Ukrainian information space after numerous appeals by patriotic and veteran public organizations.
