Air Monitoring Station in Sheptytsky Transferred to LODA

The air quality monitoring station in Sheptytsky was transferred to the balance of LODA.

Recently, the station located on the territory of Gymnasium No. 3 was handed over to the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Lviv Regional State Administration. This equipment was purchased within the framework of the project ‘Fair Transformation of Coal Regions and Green Renewal of the Energy Sector of Ukraine’, implemented by GIZ Ukraine on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.

The supplier is the Austrian company ‘mlu-recordum’, and the partner in Ukraine is LLC ‘Eknis-Engineering’. The station is designed for continuous real-time air pollution measurement.

The equipment allows automatic measurement of pollutants such as particulate matter PM2.5 and PM10, carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), and ozone (O₃). Additionally, the stations measure basic meteorological parameters: air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind direction, and speed.

You can find the measurement results at the link here.
