Thanks to the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the Truskavets community has regained the hydraulic structures.
The Drohobych District Prosecutor’s Office ensured the enforcement of a court decision that restored the community’s rights to real estate. This refers to the hydraulic structures at three ponds in the village of Ulychne, part of the Truskavets territorial community. Specifically, these are dams, dikes, and water outlets. The total value of this real estate exceeds 5.5 million UAH.
It was established that more than a year had passed since the city council recorded the orphaned property, and no one claimed rights to it. Therefore, this property is subject to transfer into the communal ownership of the community. This was the basis for the prosecutor’s intervention. The Drohobych City District Court agreed with the prosecutors’ arguments and fully satisfied the lawsuit.
As of today, the court decision has been implemented – the real estate has been returned to the communal ownership of the city council.
