This weekend, on 3rd and 4th April, road surface repairs will take place on Chornovola Avenue in Lviv. The works will be conducted on the section from Torhova Square to the railway overpass, leading to partial traffic restrictions. Heavy construction machinery will be used for asphalt laying.
According to the Halytskyi District Administration, the avenue will not be completely closed. Traffic will remain open, with only small sections being closed where machinery is operating. A significant portion of the work will occur on the public transport lane.
Overall, the road surface will be renewed over a stretch of approximately 750 metres. This approach not only addresses local damage but also comprehensively updates worn sections of the city’s vital transport artery. Residents and drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and be cautious in the work area.
The repairs are being carried out by the contracting organisation LLC “SHLYAKHOVYK-T”. Similar works were recently completed on another part of the avenue — from Varshavska Street to Khimichna Street.
