Starting next Monday, 6th April, repair works will commence on Stryiska Street in Lviv. This concerns the section from Naukovoi Street to the boundary of Lviv, with planned milling of the transport lanes. Work will begin on the far right lane, where the contact network is, affecting trolleybuses No. 23 and No. 25 – they will be shortened to the ‘Khutorivka’ stop.
Trolleybus route No. 23 will run from ‘Ryashivska’ to ‘Khutorivka’, and No. 25 from ‘Shota Rustaveli’ to ‘Khutorivka’. Trolleybuses on route No. 22 will continue to operate without changes, thanks to the use of trolleybuses with autonomous running capability, although intervals will increase due to fewer transport units.
Repairs on Stryiska Street will be carried out alternately by lanes, leaving two lanes open. After the existing surface repairs are completed, a fourth lane is planned to be added for public transport. The work is expected to last about three months.
